Parking in San Francisco can be tricky. If you park on Shore View Avenue, you must move your car on Fri 2nd & 4th and Wed 2nd & 4th before the sweeper arrives. SFMTA parking officers are very strict. Even if the street sweeper has already passed, you cannot park there until the restricted time (usually ending around 11) is completely over.
A street sweeping ticket in San Francisco is very expensive, usually costing over $90. To avoid this, always check the red and white signs on Shore View Avenue. If you are parking overnight, set an alarm on your phone so you remember to move your car early in the morning.
