Street sweeping rules change during major holidays in San Francisco.
Parking in San Francisco can be tricky. If you park on Ulloa Street, you must move your car on Mon 1st & 3rd and Tue 1st & 3rd before the sweeper arrives. SFMTA parking officers are very strict. Even if the street sweeper has already passed, you cannot park there until the restricted time (usually ending around 9) is completely over.
A street sweeping ticket in San Francisco is very expensive, usually costing over $90. To avoid this, always check the red and white signs on Ulloa Street. If you are parking overnight, set an alarm on your phone so you remember to move your car early in the morning.
