Street sweeping rules change during major holidays in San Francisco.
Parking in San Francisco can be tricky. If you park on Vicente Street, you must move your car on Thu 1st, 3rd, 5th and Fri 2nd & 4th before the sweeper arrives. SFMTA parking officers are very strict. Even if the street sweeper has already passed, you cannot park there until the restricted time (usually ending around 7) is completely over.
